Training Information
We have one common training session per week outside of school holidays.
Training takes place at Eikeli Kunstgress, Mondays outside of school holidays from 18:45 to 20:00 - Arrival at 18:30!
📱 Spond
It is expected that everyone participating in the training session has notified through Spond at least 24 hours before the training, as it is necessary to understand who is coming in order to plan the sessions. This is something we mention every time, and thank you to those who are good at following this. It is much better to sign up and then cancel due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, and it is also very helpful to cancel if you are certain you cannot attend.
Once again, thank you to those who are good at following this! This enables us to plan the sessions and have good training, and maintain the guidelines we have agreed upon below in the best possible way.
Implementation
In normal training sessions, we divide into 3 groups. These groups are not fixed but are set to ensure everyone gets a good training experience.
When we create groups, we consider the following:
Topic | Criteria |
---|---|
Social groups | You should train with people you have fun with! |
Football skills | You should train with and against players without too big a gap in ability. |
Motivation and effort | Just as important as skill is the motivation to give maximum effort to get the most out of training. |
We create groups that are as balanced as possible.
If you have any questions about the division, please don't hesitate to contact us! :)
Sessions
The sessions always begin with a common gathering, followed by injury prevention exercises. We start precisely ⏰, so make sure to be in place well in advance and with your equipment in order :)
After the injury prevention exercises, we divide into groups and conduct training sessions. We will generally have similar themes, but there may be different exercises depending on the group. In short, there may be very effective exercises for training football skills, but they require extra effort to benefit from them. At the same time, there may be other exercises that are more entertaining even if they are not as effective, but can ensure that everyone has fun. Therefore, different exercises may occur in different groups.
The sessions will take place on half of Eikeli KG 9er or the entire Eikeli KG 5E, and the exercises are adapted to the area and purpose. Which group is on which area will be rotated.
🥤 Drinking breaks are important, and we will inform you when it is appropriate to drink. We do this to ensure that we can conduct the training in the best possible way, as it becomes difficult to carry out exercises effectively if important participants disappear at inopportune times :) We understand that you get thirsty, and we recognize that it's important!
When the sessions are finished, we gather again for a summary and to tidy up the equipment - which the girls do themselves.
Assistance from Parents
There will be a need for assistance from parents during training sessions, and those responsible for conducting sessions with a group will also have a specific list of tasks that can be done - so please let us know that you are here and can assist! Typical tasks include:
- Provide simple guidance and motivation to the girls during the session to ensure they are seen and keep up the activity.
- In exercises where the girls can be continuously active, it may be beneficial to retrieve balls (e.g., after shots outside the goal towards the road). Otherwise, they should be encouraged to retrieve them themselves with good motivation and pace.
- If there is an odd number in the group and pair exercises, you can participate in the exercises to ensure that no one is left out.
- Help with injuries or other problems that need to be solved.
It is often those who ask for the least help who need the most, so we appreciate everyone who can assist in maintaining focus and joy during training!
Variation
There is variety in the training sessions. There will be sessions where groups are formed without considering the usual criteria for group division, typically once a month. For such training sessions, the content will also be adapted to ensure that it is fun for everyone regardless of level and motivation. Mastery should not only happen in football skills but also in other areas!
Saturday Trainings
Saturday trainings are low-threshold, and we create good exercises with those who participate in the training. This is based on an "organized playground" principle, which ensures that we focus on the best possible experiences through good play.
Team Trainings (possible addition!)
All teams have the opportunity to gather their team for a "team training" from time to time (approximately once a month). This is a training session that invites only the team to strengthen team spirit and cooperation, and to practice working together. The age group leadership can assist in finding a suitable place to practice, but cannot necessarily formally reserve areas for this purpose. Creative training forms are also possible here, such as joint jogging, obstacle courses, watching football matches, cooking, etc., which will help the team function better together and increase internal communication and trust.
Enjoy your training, and we look forward to seeing you there!
