We are a group of approximately 50 girls from four primary schools in Bærum (Bekkestua, Eikeli, Grav, and Hosle).

Volunteer Work

J2013 is responsible for volunteer work at the ØHIL 9-a-side cup, which takes place in October (October 18-19, weekend of week 42). The specific volunteer tasks will be determined closer to the date and will be published here when the time comes. See also ØHIL Cup Info for more information.

Social Activities

To strengthen team spirit and ensure extra motivation, we have planned several social activities throughout the season. At a minimum, the following activities will be held:

🗓️ Period 🎉 Activity 🫡 Event Responsible
April/May Season Start Grav
June Mid-season Hosle
August/September Restart after Summer Break Eikeli
October Season End Bekkestua

Parents who don't already have a role for the team are expected to plan and carry out these activities. The organization and costs should be kept simple - the most important thing is doing something together. If there's a need to use the clubhouse for these activities, this can be coordinated :)

General Information

Spond

Spond is the tool the club (and we) use to communicate. All training sessions, events, tournaments, and matches are posted here. I know that you know that I know that you know that good Spond hygiene is extremely important. I'll say it one more time: It's important to check Spond and respond whether you can participate or not as early as possible.

We prefer too much communication rather than too little - which also means we'd rather have you sign up and then cancel if needed, rather than waiting until you're "completely sure" you can participate.

That being said, it's important that signing up is an acknowledgment that you want to participate, and we hope you'll prioritize this as much as possible once you've committed :).

🙏 Spond and kids

Most of the girls now have their own mobile phones, and it would be extremely useful for everyone if they also got Spond on them - and the ability to sign up themselves. This is a positive thing, where they also learn to take responsibility for their own choices and can experience ownership of the process. Of course, it's not entirely up to them whether they can participate in something or not, but all experience with those who are already on Spond now indicates that it's a very good thing.

⚠️ Don't share parents' Spond accounts with children!

It's very important that children get their /own/ account that gives them control over themselves, while parents maintain their own account. It's very unfortunate for many reasons if children get administration access to a parent's account, including the ability to make payments (for fees and similar), and access to information that may only be intended for parents for various reasons.

Communication

Feel free to contact us via Spond, email, SMS, phone, at training, or whatever works best. All contact information for coaches is in Spond - just click on an event manager in Spond and send a message.

🔥Hot tip: to find contact information for other parents, you can click on their child and then click on the parents' names to get their contact information. Super practical for coordinating rides or if someone wants to go home with someone after a match. Many have also added their address, which makes it very easy to find your way when picking someone up on the way to a match (or driving them home afterward)
